Our Brand History is an History of entrepreneurship, tenacity and perseverance; aligned with our target market principle, values and attractions.

Founded in 2009 in Chile, a country in southern south America, our company was focused in offering custom-made traditional Chilean sandwiches with beloved Chilean recipes. 2009 was the first year of operation and the company had incredible sales and everything looked promising, yet the destiny had a different path planned for us.

Fear

In February 2010, the company had to face unexpected challenges starting with an earthquake measuring 8.8 on the richest scale with an epicenter in Concepción that destroyed the first store. Recovering from the earthquake, Astoria worked hard to open a new store, and in 2010 a new location was opened in a mall. The success of the brand and products was immediate from day one, however, in February 2011, just a year after its reopening, the mall was destroyed by fire. Once again, after all the hard work and effort, it seemed that fate was working against our success and discouraging our entrepreneurial spirit.

 

In July 2011 we reopened for the 3rd time in one and half years in the same shopping center, the customer response was incredible and after the previous disasters we have not stopped worrying and giving our customers our best effort so that be happy with a nice, handmade and quality food.
